By Whitney Williams - 1 minute read

Did you know your final matric exam timetable has been released? Don't panic, we have put together some of our best tips to help you prepare for finals.

Download your examination timetable

Knowing when your exams are will help you develop a strategy to prepare for every exam. Download or print your timetable below.

Create a study timetable

Now that you know when each of your exams is being written, create a study plan for yourself. When creating your timetable, take note of the subjects you struggle with the most and allocate adequate time to those subjects as you will need more time to master them.

You can download a study planner template here.

Get enough rest

When making your study timetable, remember to factor in enough rest time for yourself. Your brain is a muscle; it needs food, rest, and oxygen in order to work well. Doing multiple all-nighters in a row and cramming will cause your brain to be tired.

Practice regularly

Working through past exam questions will help you familiarise yourself with how questions are asked and working through the memos will help you know how to answer the questions. Studyclix breaks down past exam papers by topic and provides memos which have tips written by teachers to help you gain maximum marks.

Stay calm

Preparing for multiple exams can be overwhelming but remember to take deep breaths and follow your study plan. Taking walks during your breaks will help clear your mind and remove stress.

Good luck with your exams and let us know if you have any questions!
