About Us
Founded in 2009 by teacher Luke Saunders and software engineer Keith Wright, Studyclix was set up to make it easier for students to study and teachers to teach.
Our goal is to make a high standard of education and learning accessible and affordable.
The Studyclix team is made up of a group of talented people who are passionate about making education better.

Lynne Arnott
Lynne is a physical sciences teacher at Rondebosch Boys' High School. She is also a senior marker of DBE physical sciences exams. This, as well as her 15 years of teaching experience, add to her invaluable expertise in this subject and how to do well in the exams.
Candrine Atkins
Currently, a teacher a Parklands College, Candrine is also an NSC marker for Business Studies and is completing a Master in Education from the University of Cape Town. Her mantra is: "Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can."
Iviwe Mtubu
Iviwe graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental and Geographical Science, PGCE, and an Honours Degree in Environmental and Geographical Science from UCT, and now teaches at Westerford High School, Rondebosch.
He is an education consultant to many companies and writes commentary on education and pedagogy for local newspapers.

Dylan Buhagiar
Dylan is studying social sciences at the University of Cape Town and made the Dean's merit list in 2022. He passed his matric exams with distinctions in Life Sciences, English Home Language, and History.
Rory Wallace
Rory passed matric with a distinction in Economics. He is pursuing an Honours degree in Business and Business Law. He has a passion for economics and business-related issues. In High School, Rory would often help his friends understand concepts in Economics.
Hannah Jacobs
After receiving two distinctions in her final matric examination, Hannah is pursuing a degree in Education. She is a member of the Golden Key Honour Society. As a future teacher, Hannah believes that students should 'do what they can with what they are given' because every person has a different circumstance and one has to adapt in order to succeed.

Lynne Beachy HeadCEO of Chase (distributor for Studyclix)Lynne is a recognised leader with a successful track record and passion for Education, Publishing, Entertainment and Digital Learning. Prior to co-founding CHASE, Lynne was CEO at Juta and has served as Global Director of Publishing at Disney, Director at Oxford University Press, and as a High School teacher for many years.
Sakkie de VilliersCo-founder of CHASE (distributor for Studyclix)Sakkie has extensive experience in Finance, and Operations and a passion for education solutions. With Lynne, he successfully led Juta as Financial Director and Head of Operations for 15 years.
Luke SaundersCo-Founder and CEOHaving qualified with a degree in Zoology, Luke made a move to the west coast of Ireland to pursue his passion for surfing. Luke became a science, maths and geography teacher in Sligo where he and Keith set up Studyclix. Today, Luke leads the expansion of Studyclix globally, handles sales and keeps the team happy and motivated.
Keith WrightCo-Founder and CTOKeith is an essential cog in the Studyclix machine, leading the development and maintenance of the site using his years of experience in software engineering. After a long day of writing code and fixing bugs, Keith is likely to be found somewhere flying drones, playing tennis or spinning records.
Whitney WilliamsWebsite AdministratorWhitney is a Psychology graduate from the University of the Western Cape and she contributes to all the content on our website. She is passionate about providing quality and affordable educational resources to students within South Africa. When she is not working, you can find her watching true crime or shark documentaries and enjoying a coffee with friends.

Her enthusiasm for culture, travel and languages means she's lived in France, Germany and Scotland to date, and her favourite thing to do is try new food.
Claudelle GirardGraphic DesignerLover of arts and crafts, Claudelle is an enthusiastic visual designer with 20+ years of experience in UI, digital design and illustration. She makes the Studyclix experience look amazing with her beautiful designs and creative expertise. Originally from Canada, it's no surprise that she believes everything tastes better with maple syrup!
Maria CreaghGraphic DesignerIf you've seen our biology videos, chances are you've seen some of Maria's work. She has a particular interest in motion graphics and helps to make our videos look amazing! A fun fact about Maria is she's raising a golden retriever puppy named Ian for the Irish Guide Dogs (they named him, not her).

Henrique PereiraFrontend DeveloperWorking for us from Brazil, Henrique helps make the site look the way you see it today using his frontend development skills.
Ricardo CanelasFrontend DeveloperRicardo works on building the front end of the website and fixing any bugs to make it a smooth experience for you. He's an experienced developer with a degree in Information Systems. He loves building applications and new solutions and his goal is to make every solution as simple and intelligent as possible.
